She already plans to attend college out of state. The youngest will probably stay closer. But you just never really know for sure.Thrifty Mom In Boisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10503584246610396717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6965390616423292590.post-8483368566651940922016-03-19T06:42:56.398-06:002016-03-19T06:42:56.398-06:00I know from experience, you probably will want to ...I know from experience, you probably will want to live close to your grandbabies if possible. They usually provide more delight than anything else. Of course, not everyone thinks that way. But most of my friends do. You have some great ideas and it sounds to me as if you have the energy to get started now. I'm hoping can learn something from you about how you are planning to achieve your goal!

It's funny because I am currently saving up to buy a small (1000 sq. ft. or less) home to fix up and eventually move into. I want to purchase it while I still have my home now so I can focus on fixing it up and not have to live there at the same time.

I'm really taken with the tiny house living concept but I don't want to go that small! Ideally I'm thinking around 800 to 900 square feet.

TaniaTania Pelletierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18388815619710848529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6965390616423292590.post-34035737250858879682016-03-17T10:45:50.678-06:002016-03-17T10:45:50.678-06:00I have a ton of books. I think we may try for one more move in a few years into a smaller home but who knows. In the meantime I continue to lighten the load here. If I work at the budget really hard it could be paid by the end of this year. We then have 2 car payments. One of those, once again if I work very hard, can be paid off this year. The fly in the ointment? Hubby is having surgery next week and it will cost us over $3000 out of pocket. I have been horrible with money over the years. It is just within the last year or so that I have improved in this area. You, on the other hand, are a rock star!
I would dearly love to retire before 65 or 67. In fact I would love to retire in my 50's. I don't know if that will happen.Lee Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01146224020825165005noreply@blogger.com
