Christmas Tree - Tiny House Style

We finally found a tree!  All 24 inches of one! 

 

Our tiny tree is perfect for our tiny house.

I have been on the lookout for a tree for weeks now.  Many stops at many different stores had yielded nothing until we pulled into a Walgreens Wednesday night on our way home from filling one of our propane tanks. 

Eureka!  We found our tree.  At 24 inches tall with a cute little base like a drum we knew it was the one for us.  It even came with a string of lights and a handful of ornaments - and I mean only a handful. 

 

We stopped at the dollar store after Walgreens and found another string of lights and three packages of miniature ornaments.  Bulbs, drums and bells.  Then it was home for a quick tree assembly and to put on both strings of lights bringing the total illumination to 35 bulbs - Whoo hoo! 

 

The girls had fun putting the tiny ornaments on the tree while we listened to Christmas music on the radio.  Now we feel like it is officially Christmas in our Tiny Home.
