I've come to the conclusion that I am simply not
into the whole spring clean thing. So I've decided not to worry about it. If we lived like filthy dirty pigs I guess
I'd be more concerned, but since we are fairly clean on a routine basis I've decided
to let it go until the mood strikes me.

Instead I am focusing on fun stuff. Time spent with friends and family as well as
time spent on projects. Creating things
makes me happy and that is what I wish to do.
This is what I have planned for this month:
1. Make or purchase a gift for someone
2. Send a card or letter to someone
3. Family Nite Out or Outing
4. Be creative - sew or craft something
5. Do some investment cooking
6. Complete another small home improvement project
7. Complete 3 retirement house projects
8. Wash and detail our truck
9. Create a new menu plan for July
10. Make something to sell in my Etsy store
11. List several items to sell on eBay, Etsy or Craigslist
12. Enjoy a Family Movie Nite or Family Game Nite!
13. Purchase or make a Christmas Gift
14. Start a draft of my annual Christmas letter
15. Invite guests over for dessert or dinner

3. Family Nite Out or Outing
4. Be creative - sew or craft something
5. Do some investment cooking
6. Complete another small home improvement project
7. Spring clean our living room
8. Wash all the inside windows and windowsills
9. Create a new menu plan for June
10. Make or bake something delicious to share
11. List something to sell on eBay, Etsy or Craigslist
12. Enjoy a Family Movie Nite or Family Game Nite!
13. Plant flowers
14. Brew a new batch of beer
15. Invite guests over for a visit or dinner
The idea of completing several projects excites me and I hope to
be able to do exactly that. Some of the
projects I have planned are to make a little cash. That will be nice.
How about you? What is on
your summer project list?
Your quilt is just beautiful. Cheryl
ReplyDeleteThank you Cheryl. It has been a lot of fun to work on.
DeleteLove your list, I think I'll make a list of goals for June as well! :) I'll post tomorrow I think! Good luck with your list!!
ReplyDeleteThank Carla. I'll have to check out yours as well. :)
DeleteI really want to make a cushion for our outdoor glider swing. I have some vinyl tablecloths that I want to use for the material and will use an old body pillow for the cushion itself. This way it will be waterproof and spill proof since I have young grandboys. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea. I used a tablecloth to upholster a chair for our porch. It turned out really cute.
DeleteHoe refreshing to see a list that's fun and creative. You've inspired me to change up my list for June as everything seems to be about cleaning, tidying or sorting out. I'm going to have a 'fun' list. Rose (UK)
ReplyDeleteGood job Rose. I encourage you to do just that. My lists used to be all about chores and tasks. Throwing fun and enjoyable tasks into the mix has been a huge benefit for me. Much less drudgery.
DeleteYour quilt is beautiful. SO proud your going to enjoy the summer with your girls.
ReplyDeleteI need to make my June to do list.
