Super Easy Sautéed Green Beans

If you want a really easy side dish you can't get a whole lot easier than this one.

Wash your green beans and pat dry.  Heat a little olive oil in a sauté pan.  Add beans and stir fry until they just start to get tender.

Sprinkle with some garlic powder to taste and then drizzle a little soy sauce.  Stir until they start to caramelize and serve.

These are so good and my daughters eat them right up.  You can do this with snow peas and sugar snap peas too.

Yum!

  1. I do something similar, we call it "green bean saute": in a pan, add some oil and stir fry sliced peppers and onions (multi colored if possible), add green beans and cook until tender (I often due this with drained, canned green beans in Winter as fresh produce is cost prohibative here in New England). Season with salt/pepper. I also like to add some dried, Italian herbs and/or garlic.
