as well as other things like having "staff" meetings and setting
goals.

I have been budgeting for years with an end goal in mind - It was a pretty substantial goal so it took me about 15 years to achieve. I will reach my final goal in December. At times I thought it might be impossible because life happens and setbacks occur - But, like you, I preserved and budgeted and cut back at times - didn't suffer but lived pretty tight - now I feel a new sense of "freedom" - won't change my ways but feel free to discontinue budgeting (it really is on auto anyway) I guess I feel a sense of accomplishment and know that I can help people who are not as fortunate as I am. You are inspiring and I hope people realize that their goals really can be achieved. Mary Ellen
ReplyDeleteMary Ellen that is wonderful news. I am so happy for you. It must feel amazing. I have a goal I'm still working on that is taking much longer than I would like, but I know I'll get there. :)
DeleteI went back and read your older post. You definitely have this household budget thing down pat. You and your girls are amazing with finances and creating wonderful things.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a lot of trial and error to get to this point, but I do feel like I've got a pretty good handle on it. I just have to keep it up and we'll be just fine. :)
