Life is good!
Let me start by simply saying I am truly blessed and fortunate.
Over the past three weeks I have diligently searched every day, including Sundays, for a new RV that would fit our needs and our budget. I dragged one of my dearest friends along with me in my quest and, bless her heart, she stayed with me every step of the way, offering encouragement and support. Without her I'm certain this task would have been far less enjoyable, believe me.
Early
Saturday morning we headed back to a sales lot we'd already visited the day
before to check out a travel trailer I had found on their website. We toured around with our salesman on the
golf cart in search of this trailer and we couldn't find it. Their lot is huge so, figuring we probably
drove past it, we went around again, then again.
Pretty soon I figured it was already gone.
The trailer had a ton of features and was priced to move.
They
showed it was still in stock and even the sales manager came out there to aid
us in our search. He suggested to our
salesman to "check the dirt".
The dirt? My friend and I looked
at each other. Oh boy! If it's in "the dirt" it must be a
real piece of junk after all. Or so we
imagined. After all, we had seen a lot of dirt by now.
Turns
out "the dirt" is the overflow lot they use when they have too much
inventory and guess what? There she
was. I opened the door and she wasn't a
piece of junk. She was beautiful.
And
now, she's mine.
To say we
are a little bit excited would be an understatement.
As the
days progress I'll be sharing photos and updates about our new home. It will be so nice to have our own home again
and get things back to "normal". Whatever that is.

Yeah for you! I was getting worried because you rented the house and then the RV broke down and the truck -Yikes - I wasnt sure what you wanted to do. So glad you got the RV It looks very cute and you can get settled. Will you stay in Boise or hit the road again???

For right now we will be staying put. Quite honestly, after everything we've been through I need to get my bearings and school is about to start anyway. In the spring I'll re-evaluate things. We also need to find something that will pull this beast. :)
