The other
night I tried this new recipe and my kids went nuts over it. I chose it because it is simple and you
"bake" it in the microwave so in the hot summer you don't have to turn
on the oven. I added a crisp garden
salad and it made for a quick and easy warm weather meal.
Ham &
Cheddar Pasta Bake
7 oz. pkg.
fideo pasta
2 cups
cubed ham
1 can cream
of mushroom, chicken or celery soup
1 cup grated
sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup milk
Salt &
pepper to taste
Cook pasta
according to directions, drain and place in large mixing bowl.
Add all remaining ingredients stirring to
combine. Pour into a 2 quart casserole
dish. Cover with and place in microwave
on high for five minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
That's
pretty much it!
12 cups of cubed ham? Should this be 2 cups?
ReplyDeleteNo, two! Eeek!
DeleteOtherwise, this sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for calling me out on that. Ha! Fixed it! ;)
DeleteI am also wondering if it should be 12 cups of ham? Seems like an awful lot?
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of ham! Just two. Ha, ha.
DeleteA lady at church give me a similar recipe ,I tried it yesterday.. We loved it..
ReplyDeleteHers used thin sliced potatoes instead of pasta[and you didnt cook the potatoes, before hand... I think I will try yours too. thanks for sharing.
I think I've had that too. It was really good as I recall. Hmmm. I'll have to make that again too.
