Once again I
thought I would share with you some of the meals we have been enjoying at our
house lately. As the weather has been
changing around here so have our meals.
We seem to want more soups and some comfort foods lately.
|
Vegetarian lasagna, garden salad, homemade whole wheat dinner rolls |
|
Fried rice, egg drop soup and special salad |
|
Pulled pork sliders, homemade macaroni & cheese |
|
A bun-less chili dog |
|
Grilled cheese sandwich & homemade tomato basil soup |
And a few of the breakfasts we enjoyed.
|
Homemade waffles & syrup, fried eggs |
|
Egg salad on a toasted English muffin |
|
Cheddar cheese omelet |
As always I try to focus on healthy well
rounded meals with lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. It was a delicious month!
the plate that you show, is that the plate you eat & no more? I'm cutting back now & I know you've lost weight.... thanks so much... looks like everything in moderation...
ReplyDeleteI will have seconds, usually salad or veggies. I try to limit my carbs as I have a tendency to overindulge. My biggest weakness is dessert. Like you said, all things in moderation. And I walk and hike a lot. That way I can eat more. :)
Deleteour meals look really good! Our meals have been changing here also with the colder weather. We are doing more soups, stews and stick to your ribs kind of meals. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm leaning more in that direction too. Now that its has cooled I'm using my oven more.
DeleteYummy looking meals.. Our meals are changing too..More soups/stews.etc.. Trying to keep eating fruits and vegetables..
ReplyDeleteFunny how when the weather cools we seem to want fewer fresh fruits and veggies. Salads are a staple with most meals year round so we still get plenty.
DeleteDid you make the pizza in the picture from scratch? If so do you have a recipe for the crust..it look yummy
ReplyDeleteS
That pizza is homemade and yes I do make my crust from scratch. The recipe is super easy. Just stick this in your web browser and it will take you right to it.
