Need Some Self-Rising Flour?

I rarely ever use it so I never buy it.  Occasionally, however, you come across a recipe you really want to try that calls for it and because you don’t have any you don’t make the recipe.  So, make your own.

Self Rising Flour

In a wide-mouth one quart canning jar place:

3 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Cover jar with a lid and shake to combine.

Measure out the amount you need and you are good to go!  How easy is that?!
