Farewell My Friend



Sadly our Old Man Kitty has passed away.  Henry was my buddy for 20 1/2 years, a heck of a run if you ask me.  We had been through a lot together and I couldn't have asked for better.  I really loved that little guy and I could always count on him for anything I needed.


He was my blog writing assistant every day.



Loved to help the girls with their homework.


Always willing to lend a hand on any home improvement project.


Quality control inspector when we put in the new carpet.


Snuggle buddy to his little brother Leonard.


Great hugger.

While I miss him terribly and have wept with a broken heart I am so grateful to have been blessed to have him in my life for so long.  He truly meant the world to me.  

Farewell my little friend.  I miss you.

    Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss! Pets fill our days and hearts with such joy, but when they leave the sadness is almost unbearable. Sympathy and hugs to you all.

    I'm so, so sorry. Pets provide such companionship (while asking for so little in return), and losing them is just terrible. Your kitty was beautiful and 20 years is an amazing amount of time to be able to spend with a furry friend. Love to all of you.

    So sorry, my dear... the hurt will ease, but you'll always have a scar there. And that's ok. It's the price of loving someone. He was a Good Kitty, and will be remembered. Wish I could make it easier for you.

    I am sooo sorry! We have a 13yo big old black cat boy and adore him. I hate the thought of losing him, but hate more the thought of him suffering. I hope I just find him napping eternally in one of his favorite spots.

    I'm so sorry for the loss of your fur baby. It is so true what Lee Ann wrote" They love us no matter what." We have two kitties, one will be 19 next Friday and the other will be 7 in July. Your kitty was a handsome boy. Looked like he loved his family. Sending hugs, Janie
