A
couple weeks ago I treated myself to a holiday flavored latte at Starbucks with
a $5 gift card I have been carrying around in my wallet forever. One latte used up the whole card, well all
but 17¢ of it anyway. I then came home
and experimented and made my own lattes with ingredients I already had. For what it costs for one small latte I can
buy a whole bottle of flavored coffee syrup at Cash & Carry. That will make a lot of flavored coffee
drinks. I’m glad I was able to do this
because it made for a nice treat to serve my friends the other night when we
got together to play pinochle.
I’m
all for making our own!
