I took
the remaining $24.82 left over from last month and added it to this month's
budget which gave me $154.82 as a beginning budget. I spent the most on groceries this month than
I have all year but, I still have used up all of my reserve. In fact, I'll have a slight deficit to begin
with in December of -29¢. I think I did pretty darn good!
The
best part is that our pantry is thoroughly stocked, I have a nice amount tucked
away in our freezer and I get to go back to monthly meal planning which thrills
me to no end!
Our
non-food budget came in at $21.34 (of our allotted $25) for 16 pounds of cat
food, trash bags, three boxes of facial tissues, a bottle of fabric softener and
some feminine hygiene products. I used
coupons to help offset some of these expenses.
