It has
been a little while since I've posted a grocery update and I am happy to be
back on track and have one to post. I
only spent a little under $50 on groceries in July as we were traveling and
staying with friends. It was so sporadic
I decided not to track it, but I did hold my receipts until the end of the
month anyway.
I took
the remaining $75 from our July budget and added it to the August budget so I
had plenty to work with and get us stocked back up. I'm happy to report I still didn't spend it
all. Our non-food budget came in at
$12.76 (of our allotted $25) for 6 cans of cat food, 20# bag of cat litter and a
bottle of dish soap. Not bad.
